Moore is located about 8 miles northwest of Arco on US Highway 93. This is in the Big Lost River Valley below the Lost River Mountains (24 of Idaho's 25 highest peaks are in the Lost River Mountains). Just outside Moore is King Mountain, launching point for one of the largest annual hang gliding/paragliding competitions on Earth. |
