Our Bed & Breakfast is an elegant timber-frame home on 240 historic acres (containing the ruins of the former mining town of Primero) with modern comforts and conveniences (and incredible mountain views) about 14 miles west of Trinidad on the Scenic Highway of Legends. While we are ADA accessible, we also offer (in season) stagecoach rides and fireside chuckwagon dinners. We are able to board your horse(s) during your stay but our resident canines most likely won't get along with yours. On a regular basis we also host Western-themed events and have an on-going relationship with a group of archaeologists working to reconstruct the daily lives of the coal miners who were once the inhabitants of Primero.

Our Bed & Breakfast is an elegant 1904 Stone Victorian home just 2 blocks from Main Street. Enjoy a leisurely or romantic getaway in a little-changed historic mining town on the Santa Fe Trail. We offer full gourmet breakfasts, elegant downstairs sitting areas, a large comfortable front porch, and 3 quiet second floor rooms.
