This easy, 2.7 mile trail is in the northern Wet Mountains. Most folks who come here do so in the summer and fall.
Access: Take State Route 67 south out of Florence for about 4.3 miles, turn west on County Road 15, go past Florence Mountain Park to the trailhead at the end of the road. Notes: This trail follows Newlin Creek into the upper foothills of the northern Wet Mountains, providing some good trout fishing along the way. USGS Maps: Rockvale, Hardscrabble Mountain |
