This easy, 1.6 mile trail sees most of its traffic in the summer and fall.
Access: The lower trailhead is off of FR #318, off of State Road 78 southwest of Beulah. The upper trailhead is on FR #320, off of State Road 165 and north of the Lazy Acres Girl Scout Camp. Notes: This is an easy trail on the "upper deck" of the eastern side of the Wet Mountains. Hiking through pine and aspen forests you might get glimpses of Kansas far off to the east. But you'll also be looking out over Pueblo, Rye and the plains below. USGS Maps: St. Charles Peak, San Isabel, Rye, Beulah |
