This moderately difficult, 2.9 mile trail sees most of its traffic in the summer and fall.
Access: The trailhead is at the end of Greenhorn Mountain Road. Notes: From the parking area at the end of Greenhorn Mountain Road, the Turkey Creek Trail heads west down the hill and straight into some incredible views over the Huerfano Valley with the Sangre de Cristo's behind. The trail follows Turkey Creek down to the confluence with Cisneros Creek, then crosses the stream and continues west up the hill to end at the junction with the Cisneros Trail.
