This easy 1 mile trail is in the central Wet Mountains and sees most of its traffic in the summer and fall.
Access: About 1 mile north of Lake Isabel on State Road 165, turn east on FR 380 (toward the San Isabel Scout Camp). The trailhead is maybe a 1/4 mile in on the south side of the road. Notes: The trail follows a ridgeline south and ends above Lake Isabel on the hill on the east side of the State Road 165. It's an easy 1 mile stroll through the forest with good views.
