Winter Park Ski Resort is basically 5 excellent skiing mountains in one, each having different elevations, vertical drops, longest runs, etc. And each mountain/section has its' own skill levels. Mary Jane has the most beginner slopes (28%) while Vasquez Cirque is entirely advanced (2%), most difficult (83%) or expert (14%). Winter Park Ski Resort is one of the largest ski and snowboard resorts in Colorado. Located right next to the Continental Divide, Winter Park gets its famous snow from all directions. Shopping, restaurants and lodging are available at Zephyr Mountain Lodge. The mountaintop Lodge at Sunspot offers gourmet dinners, day spa services, dog sled rides and snowcat tours. There is a multitude of ski and snowboard equipment retail, rental and repair shops in the Winter Park Ski Resort area.
There are beds to sleep more than 10,000 people in the Winter Park area and they range from slopeside condos to hotel rooms and suites to mountain inns, bed & breakfasts, townhomes and luxury mountain homes tucked into the forest.
