Phantom Canyon Road Part 2

Now here's a feldspar inspired cleavage face for you. This was blasted through the solid rock for that old railroad bed. It's a bit narrow and just around that big curve on the other side is a good drop-off to the left. This part of the road had me sitting on the edge of my seat but it wasn't as "white knuckle" as the deep canyon on Shelf Road would be later on that same day.

I saw this coming and took some shots of it before I got here but this one photo cried out to me to be included in this narrative. Something about dramatic effect...
