Phantom Canyon Road Part 2

Phantom Canyon Road

The palisades and pinnacles of granite still keep rising. This might all be private land but it obviously doesn't see much use these days, unless this is a hunting ranch that charges "guests" thousands of bucks per head to come out here and see if they can get a good bull elk... but it sure is wild and woolly country. There may be some mountain goats up there, and probably some bighorn sheep (but hunting permits for those are few and very far between: a few preference points required and draw-only make for good limitations). But what a place to hone your rock climbing skills. Only question is: where do you start?
