Blaine County, Idaho

Blaine County is in central Idaho. Sun Valley Ski Resort is here, as is part of Craters of the Moon National Monument. Most of the Sawtooth Scenic Byway is in Blaine County. Blaine County was named for 1884 Republican presidential nominee James G. Blaine. Blaine County was founded in 1895 and contains 2,645 square miles of land and 16 square miles of water. The county seat is Hailey.
