The Bogus Basin Recreation Association, a non-profit entity, operates Bogus Basin Mountain Resort as a not-for-profit ski venture, one of the few in the United States. Bogus Basin ranks behind only Sun Valley in terms of Idaho skier visits and sheer size. 2,600 acres with a wide variety of terrain, including some of the finest glade and open bowl skiing in the Rockies. The resort offers mid-mountain lodging, sleigh rides and close proximity to Boise, one of the last western cities in America. The resort also offers night skiing, a terrain park and 37 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails. Bogus Basin Mountain Resort is 16 miles north of Boise on State Highway 55. |
