18 miles north of Yellowstone National Park (but 47 miles by road to the West Entrance), Big Sky Resort offers world-class skiing and snowboarding on 3 interconnected mountains, and usually there's twice as many acres as skiers. The resort offers 3 terrain parks: 1 for beginners, 1 for intermediates and 1 for folks who prefer to 'board with their feet above their heads. The 3 mountains offer 150 named runs, and more than 85 miles of groomed tracks.

Big Sky Resort is 9 miles west of US Highway 191. The turnoff from US Highway 191 is 45 miles south of Bozeman and 47 miles north of West Yellowstone. If you are flying in, Gallatin Field Airport in Belgrade is serviced by Delta/SkyWest, Northwest, United, and Horizon/Alaska. You can get either a rental car or a taxi at the airport.
