Benny Creek Campground

Access: Benny Creek Campground is about 2.5 miles north of Greer, just off State Road 373.

Elevation: 8,250'

Camping season is May through September, the gate being usually locked the rest of the year.

Within walking distance of Greer Lakes (Bunch Reservoir), the campground is located on a bench right above Benny Creek. The sites are fairly open and interspersed through the Ponderosa's. Summer time can often have cool nights and heavy rains.

Facilities:

  • 24 campsites with picnic tables, fire rings and grills, that can accommodate trailers, tents and motor homes up to 24 feet long.
  • Drinking water, vault toilets and garbage bins
  • Campground hosts on site

Other notes:

  • No utility hookups
  • The dump station is across the highway at Hoyer Campground.
  • Nearest gas, groceries, restaurants and equipment sales/rental are in Greer.
  • Keep your pets either leashed or otherwise restrained.
