Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest

Access: Benny Creek Campground is about 2.5 miles north of Greer, just off State Road 373. Elevation: 8,250' Camping season is May through September, the gate being usually locked the rest of the year. Within walking distance of Greer Lakes (Bunch Reservoir), the campground is located on a bench right above Benny Creek. The sites are fairly open and interspersed through the Ponderosa's. Summer time can often have cool nights and heavy rains. Facilities:
