Access: The entrance to Canyon Point Campground is located on State Highway 260, about 4.5 miles east of the Rim Visitor Information Station, about 19 miles west of Heber, AZ. Elevation: 7,680' Depending on the weather, season is generally mid-May to mid-October. Boating and fishing are available at Willow Springs Lake, about 5 miles away. There are trailheads here leading to Sinkhole and the edge of the Mogollon Rim. The campground is located in a Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir forest. In July and August be prepared for summer rains, sometimes heavy. And the evenings and nights can get chilly up here. Facilities:
