Access: Located near the Arizona-New Mexico State Line, Coal Creek Campground is 19 miles east of Clifton, AZ, via US 191, State Road 78 and Three-Way Junction. Elevation: 5,900' Coal Creek Campground is open year-round. This is a popular stop for travelers on AZ Highway 78 under large Ponderosas and Gambel oaks. Nearby Coal Creek flows seasonally.
