Rolfe C. Hoyer Campground

Access: Rolfe Hoyer Campground is across from the Greer Lakes, about 2 miles north of Greer on State Road 373.

Elevation: 8,300'

Camping season usually runs from mid-May through September.

Rolfe C. Hoyer Campground is very popular among families and seniors. The nearby town of Greer offers many day activities and restaurants for those evenings out. Fishermen will appreciate the closeness of the Greer Lakes and Little Colorado River. The amphitheater offers interpretive programs and summer time sees many hosted nature walks beginning from there. Summer nights tend to be cool (sometimes cold) and July and August see heavy rains at times.

  • 100 camping units with picnic tables, fire rings and grills
  • Sites can accommodate tents, trailers and motor homes up to 32 feet in length
  • Drinking water, flush toilets, showers and an RV dumpstation
  • Campground hosts on site
  • Amphitheater
