Situated next to Scott Reservoir, this campground is very popular with fishermen in the summer. The reservoir sports rainbow and brown trout, large mouth bass, channel cats, blue gills, sunfish, carp, and black bullheads. Thunderstorms are frequent and come up fast from July to September: take precautions and get off the lake immediately if lightning starts. Picnicking is allowed along the lakeshore and through the surrounding area. The campground itself is only modestly developed. This campground is open year-round but can be very unpleasant in extreme cold and icy weather.
