Spillway Campground

Access: Spillway Campground is about 5 miles north of State Highway 260 on Forest Road 300, adjacent to Woods Canyon Lake. Forest Road 300 is about 25 miles west of Heber, directly across the road from the Rim Visitor Information Station.

Elevation: 7,500'

Depending on the weather, season here generally runs from May 15 to September 15.

Woods Canyon Lake offers fishing and boating (electric trolling motors only). The campground is located in the Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir forest with an interpretive trail at the north end of the lake.

Facilities:

• There are 26 family campsites.
• 1 group campsite is available for less than 25 people.
• Tents, trailers and small motorhomes up to 16 feet long.
• Rocky Point Picnic Area
• Each site includes campfire grills and picnic tables.
• Toilets & garbage facilities are available.
• Drinking water is available.
• RV sanitary dump station near-by.
• Boat ramp and launch.
