Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest

The AD Bar Trail is 12 miles of moderate rated trail that sees light use from April through December. The trail passes through several different vegetation zones, from Ponderosas, pinons and junipers to meswquite, cactus and acacia. The water you may find along the way is basically stock water so bring your own or bring treatments. Along the way you'll cross several old ranches and eventually come down to the Blue River.
