See Canyon Trail #184

The See Canyon Trail is about 3.5 miles long and is rated as more difficult. It see moderate use in the spring, summer and fall.

Elevation: 7,700' to 6,200'

This is a creekside hike down off the Mogollon Rim through See Canyon to the Highline Trail and the community of Christopher Creek. This is a really lush trail (maples, aspen, oaks, mint, ferns) but there are fewer vistas of the Rim than on other Rim rails.

Access: Follow State Road 260 to Forest Road 300. Follow FR 300 for about 2.7 miles past the FR 34 intersection. The trailhead is signed and on the left. From the north, follow FR 34 to FR 300, go south for 2.7 miles to the signs for the trailhead.
