Telephone Ridge Trail #103

This very difficult trail is about 1.25 miles long (one way). It sees light use, mostly in spring, summer and fall.

Elevation: 7,200' to 6,500'

Just south of Chevelon Canyon Lake, this trail descends into Chevelon Canyon with great views of the canyon and the Ponderosa forest. The trail ends at Chevelon Creek, is quite steep and sports lots of loose rock and fallen trees. You'll want to be wearing good hiking shoes and carrying lots of water.
