This "moderate" rated trail is about 1.25 miles long and sees light-to-moderate use in the spring, summer and fall. Elevation: 7,600' The Willow Springs Loop Trail travels among a network of old logging roads in a Wildlife Habitat Area that is now closed to motorized vehicles. The Jacob Well and Hidden Lake sinkholes are accessible from this trail, as is the edge of Chevelon Canyon. Access: About 22 miles west of Heber on State Road 260, turn north on Forest Road 237. About 1/2 mile in is Forest Road 236, blocked by a closure gate that marks the trailhead. USGS Maps: O W Point, Woods Canyon |
