This is an easy hike through a network of pathways around Woods Canyon Lake. In spring, summer and fall the whole area sees heavy use. Just beyond the dam at Woods Canyon Lake, is a pathway that is truly beautiful and lush: grasses, ferns and wild roses, surrounded by big pines, firs and oaks. Bring your camera.

Access: From Winslow, follow Forest Road 34 to Forest Road 300, turn left and go 6 miles to the Woods Canyon Lake entrance. From the south, follow Forest Road 300 north from State Road 260 for 3 miles to the Woods Canyon Lake entrance.
