Tres Piedras Ranger District
Forest Road 91B (the 7 mile long Burned Mountain cross country ski trail) starts at the Hopewell Lake turnoff and accesses the open countryside around Burned Mountain. 22 miles west of Tres Piedras, a small parking area is plowed adjacent to the Hopewell Lake Campground turnoff. This trail offers long vistas and easy grades but some snowmobile use may be encountered. Rating: Novice to intermediate USGS Quad: Burned Mountain |
