Camino Real Ranger District
This is a 1.5 mile trail 5 miles east of Taos on US Highway 64. The trail parallels the La Sombra and Capulin Campgrounds with parking available at both campground entrances. This trail is ideal for cross country skiing on a nearly flat trail. There is also an ice cave at the south end of Capulin Campground. Rating: Novice to intermediate USGS Quad: Shady Brook |
