These reasonably gentle forest roads begin about 2 miles west of the Hopewell Lake turnoff and can be used to access Jawbone Mountain or the Placer area. This 6 mile route is highly recommended for all levels of cross country skiers and also offers some challenging loops for the adventurous. However, you may encounter some snowmobile traffic at times.
