Canjilon Ranger District
The Rim Vista Trail sports some of the best views in the Abiquiu area. The climb from the base of the mesa to the top is about 300' long and moderately steep but well worth it for the views into the Chama River Canyon Wilderness area. At the top of the mesa, among the Ponderosas and pinons, the Rim Vista Trail intersects with rock cairns of the Salazar Trail. Rating: Easy to moderate, that first hill being the worst of it |
