In central Wyoming Casper Mountain sports the Hogadon Ski Area. Hogadon seems to be owned and operated by the City of Casper. Snowboarders are welcome on all trails in the 60 acre park. There is a fully-accredited ski school, an alpine ski and snowboard rental shop, and a full-service restaurant and snack bar. The Natrona County Parks Nordic Ski Area also offers 15 miles of groomed and lighted trails through the forests of Casper Mountain. Natrona County Parks even has a snowmobile trail system with 60 miles of groomed trails and another 20 miles of ungroomed trails. The snowmobile trail system is about 8 miles south of Casper on Casper Mountain Road. Go another mile south to the Hogadon Ski Area. |
