A survey of 2006 Ski Magazine readers ranked Powder Mountain #1 for snow quality among North American resorts. Powder Mountain is graced by pure, fallen-from-the-sky Utah powder (and lots of it) on its three mountains of gold medal terrain and steep slopes. There's also two excellent terrain parks and the Hidden Lake Halfpipe: 400 feet long, 40 feet wide and 8 to 12 feet tall. Powder Mountain Resort is located 19 miles northeast of Ogden and 55 miles north of Salt Lake International Airport. |
