Wolf Creek is a high alpine ski resort: sunscreen and sunglasses are necessary. And as the weather can change in a matter of minutes, you might want to have extra clothing and goggles handy. Wolf Creek earns its reputation for "the Most Snow in Colorado" every year: 465 inches is the average (there's no snowmaking needed here). The Magic Carpet Lift services the Wolf Pup Program. The Nova Lift services primarily beginner terrain while the new Raven Chairlift feeds into beginner and intermediate terrain. The Bonanza and Treasure Triple Chairs feed intermediate and expert slopes. The Alberta Chairlift services the Water Fall Area: 1,000 acres of tree skiing and boarding through incredible glades and changing terrain with a few groomed intermediate trails. You'll find pretty much all the services you'll need in either Pagosa Springs or South Fork. |
