From Walsenburg take I-25 exit to Hwy. 10, go east 18.5 miles, then south on Cty. Rd. 77 for 7 miles, east on Cty. Rd. 90 for 11 miles to Apishapa State Wildlife Area. Follow signs through wildlife area to northeast side and parking lot.

WILDLIFE: Mule deer, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, rabbits, doves, scaled quail, bobcats, coyotes

Go east from Trinidad on US 160 for 40 miles, then go north on CR 147 for 9 miles. Or, go west from Kim for 28 miles on US 160, then go 9 miles north on CR 147.

OPEN: From first day of archery pronghorn season until May 31.
HUNTING: Deer, elk, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, turkey, mountain lions. No small game hunting or fishing allowed.
RESTRICTIONS:

From I-25 exit 34 (at Aguilar) take CR 60 east for 10 miles, then north on CR 75 for 2 miles. Then go east on CR 64 for 2 miles, then north on CR 79 another 6 miles to the parking lot.
