The photos below were taken during a low altitude flyover of the northern areas of Canyonlands National Park. The flight was made in a very small plane that we rented at the Moab Airport: $50 per head for about 90 minutes flying time. You can see parts of the Maze, the Needles and the river gorges themselves. There are also a couple shots of Cedar Mesa Sandstone and of Upheaval Dome.
