Millsite State Park offers camping, boating and fishing on Millsite Reservoir. And nearby Ferron Canyon is one of those places where mountain bikers and OHV riders can cut loose on miles and miles of backcountry trails. There's also a 9-hole golf course adjacent to the park. Millsite State Park is located 4 miles west on Ferron Canyon Road, off Utah SR 10 at Ferron. Summer hours are 6 AM to 10 PM and winter hours are 8 AM to 5 PM. The park closes for Thanksgiving and Christmas. A $5 day use permit covers use of the boat ramps. Or you can buy a $75 annual Utah State Parks pass at the Millsite State Park Office. Overnight camping runs $16 per night. Elevation: 6,100' |
