Park County is in northwestern Wyoming, with Montana to the north and Yellowstone National Park to the west. A large part of the Shoshone National Forest is here, too.
Park County was formed in 1909 and contains 6,942 square miles of land and 26 square miles of water. The county seat is Cody.
