Snowy Range Ski Area is located in the Medicine Bow National Forest about 32 miles west of Laramie. As a family owned and operated ski area, Snowy Range Ski Area has a great family fun oriented atmosphere with a recently renovated/remodeled lodge and excellent snowfall. Boarders will love Renegade Park and the excellent half-pipe.
Being in the National Forest, there's miles and miles of cross country trails available for the more Nordic minded. The certified Snowy Range Ski School offers group and private lessons for skiers and snowboarders from their friendly, professional staff. Cross country and downhill equipment rentals are available slopeside at the Snowy Range Lodge. The Lodge offers an excellent cafeteria, lounge and gift shop but the nearest lodging accommodations are 5 miles away in Centennial. Snowy Range Ski Area has been in operation since 1984.
