Located along the eastern shores of lower Lake Havasu, Lake Havasu State Park tends to be full on most summer weekends, and closes the gates when capacity is exceeded on holiday weekends. Lake Havasu State Park is open 365 days a year.

This is primarily a water sports park but the State Park also offers 42 campsites (none with power or water). There are 2 boat ramps for normal boats and 1 ramp specifically for jet skis (right next to the rental concessionaire's office). The park also offers some beautiful beaches and a couple of good hiking trails. In the water, the fisherfolk in your group will find carp, sunfish, largemouth bass, small mouth bass, striped bass, channel catfish, flathead catfish and crappie.
