Lake Havasu State Park

Located in Lake Havasu on Lake Havasu, Lake Havasu State Park tends to be full on most summer weekends, and closes the gates when capacity is exceeded on holiday weekends. The park is open 365 days a year.

This is primarily a water sports park but the State Park also offers 42 campsites (none with power or water). There are 2 boat ramps for normal boats and 1 ramp specifically for jet skis (right next to the rental concessionaire's office). The park also offers some beautiful beaches and a couple of good hiking trails.

All the usual rules apply, except add:

  • Registered campers only, in designated campsites
  • Keep your pets on a leash but make sure they have water and good shade.
  • Stay with your fire and don't burn in high wind.
  • No glass containers on the beaches or in day use areas.
  • No wheeled vehicles allowed on hiking trails.
  • Strict enforcement of state liquour laws. Keep your designated driver sober...
