Copper Creek Golf Course at Copper Mountain is a beautiful golf course at the highest elevation in America for a championship rated 18-hole, par 70 course. The Clubhouse offers a well-stocked pro shop. Designed by Pete and Perry Dye, there are several good water hazards around the course, and the views aren't bad either. Yardages, Slopes and Ratings: The Gold Tees: 6,057 yards, 68.2/115. The Blue Tees: 5,704 yards, 66.3/110. The White Tees: 5,163 yards, 64.0/102. The Red Tees: 4,460 yards, 63.2/111. USGA rules govern all play except where the following local rules prevail: Copper Creek is a soft spike facility. The use of metal spikes is prohibited. Yardages on the sprinkler heads are to the center of the green, not necessarily to where the cup is. Keep golf carts on the paths at all times. Observe proper golf attire and etiquette. Any damage caused by your golf ball is your personal liability. Perimeter fences and white stakes define out of bounds. Lateral water hazards are defined by red stakes. Other water hazards are defined by yellow stakes. Natural grass areas are considered to be lateral hazards. Through the green the embedded ball rule is in effect. No relief is granted for railroad ties as they are an integral part of the golf course. For Reservations: 970-968-3333. |
