Grand County is on the west side of the northern Front Range, on the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park. A large part of the county is contained within the Arapaho National Recreation Area. The county is also crossed by the Colorado River Headwaters Scenic Byway. You'll also find the SolVista Basin and Winter Park Ski Areas here. Grand County contains 1,847 square miles of land and 23 square miles of water. The county seat is Hot Sulphur Springs.
