Cattail Cove State Park is about 15 miles south of Lake Havasu City on Arizona Route 95. This 2,000-acre park on the shores of Lake Havasu is open 365 days a year. If you're coming for the fishing, you'll find crappie, sunfish, striped bass, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, channel catfish, carp and flathead catfish in the water.

Cattail Cove State Park offers 61 campsites (some with electric and water), with another 28 BLM campsites available along the water's edge (some you can hike to, some you must boat to), picnic tables, grills, a beach area, boat launch ramp, hiking trails, restrooms, showers, and a dump station. Lots and lots of water sports here on this 45-mile long lake. The area around the park is also littered with jaspers, geodes, turquoise, obsidian, agate, and volcanic rocks for the rock hounds in the group.
