Along the river in Garden City |
In its early days, Garden City had a relatively large population of Chinese immigrants. The Chinese had a thing about growing gardens everywhere, and that's how Garden City got the name. Garden City is located just north of old Boise, but the City of Boise has grown in such a way that it almost surrounds this (still) independent little municipality. |
